This six piece band from Albany, N.Y. is NOT your average swing band.

Featuring exciting arrangements, impeccable musicianship and great showmanship, Nitro Jive captivates their audience in nightclubs, concert venues and dances.

Our style emulates modern bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the Royal Crown Revue, and Brian Setzer, while holding true to the traditions found in the great jump, swing and jazz bands such as Count Basie, Illinois Jacquet and Duke Ellington.

NitroJive's energy is produced by the HOT horn section of Steve Lambert on trumpet, Billy Deuel on tenor sax and Ken Olsen on trombone, and a KICKIN’ rhythm section featuring Jeff Dowd on drums, Stacy Jedynak on guitar and Kevin Norris on bass. Bandleader Billy Deuel also fronts the band with smooth vocals and a seemingly un-ending supply of energy!
